E-invoicing is going mandatory across Europe. Know every deadline.
If you buy from or sell to European suppliers, their mandates change what lands in your AP inbox, and what your customers can accept from you.
Last verified September 17, 2026 against tax authority and government announcements. Dates change often.
EU e-invoicing mandate tracker
Watch list: Denmark (e-invoicing by default proposed), Estonia and Lithuania (proposals, not yet law), Portugal (qualified e-signature on PDF invoices from Jan 1, 2027).
ISO 20022 structured addresses: November 2026 is no longer the date
Banks told corporates that unstructured addresses would be rejected from November 2026. In late August and September, the main payment systems postponed. The direction hasn't changed: town and country in their own fields, then fully structured addresses.
- Split vendor and employee addresses into street, building, post code, town and country code
- Check your ERP payment files (pain.001) send town and country as separate fields
- Ask each bank in writing for their cut-off date and whether they reject or repair
- Swift deferred all November payments changes; update promised by December
- Fedwire moved its November release to November 2027
- CHAPS delayed its November release; removal of unstructured addresses expected November 2027
- T2 (euro) release moved to Nov 28, 2026, with unstructured addresses temporarily still accepted
- SEPA (EPC) kept unstructured addresses beyond Nov 15, 2026; new date due October 2026

Your finance team is too smart to be doing this manually.
Every kit pairs a spreadsheet that works on day one with AI prompts written by people who have run AP, not by marketers guessing at it.
- Built around real controls: approvals, segregation of duties and audit trails.
- Privacy first: prompts are designed to work without pasting sensitive vendor or bank data.
- Plain-English instructions, so a new hire can run it on their first week.
“Summarize these open exceptions by root cause and draft a one-line status for each approver.”
“Compare these vendor names and flag likely duplicates, even with spelling or suffix differences.”
“Write flux commentary for accounts that moved more than 10% versus last month.”

Do you cover countries outside the US?
Yes. Briefs are marked US or Global. Global topics include EU e-invoicing mandates, VAT on supplier invoices and ISO 20022 payment formats, and the mandate tracker above is re-verified as rules change.
What's in a tailored prompt pack?
Copy-paste prompts built around your answers, a checklist for pulling the right export from your system, vendor email drafts in your tone, a reviewer sign-off checklist, and a list of state-level items to confirm with your advisor. You get it as a PDF and an editable Word file.
What do I share in the questionnaire?
Only how your team works: your system, states, vendor types, payment methods and approval steps. We never ask for tax ID numbers, bank details, vendor names or other sensitive data.
What format are the templates?
Excel (.xlsx) files that also open in Google Sheets, plus PDF quick-start guides. No macros, add-ins or special software required.
Do I need an AI tool to use them?
No. Every template works on its own. The AI prompts are a bonus that save time if your company already uses ChatGPT, Claude or Microsoft Copilot.
Is our financial data safe?
Yes. The templates run in your own spreadsheet, so nothing is uploaded to us. The prompts are written to work with summaries rather than sensitive vendor, bank or tax ID details. Always follow your company's AI policy.
Will this work with our ERP?
If your system can export to Excel or CSV (virtually all of them can), the templates will work. Instructions show you where to paste your export.
Is this tax or legal advice?
No. The templates are practical tools to organize your work. Confirm filing requirements and deadlines with your tax advisor or the IRS.
